Selling Vista on eBay

Hi. I’m selling my vista home prem 64 bit on eBay that I have used once and got updates from but I didn’t register my details with Microsoft or anything but a customer has asked me this:
if this programme has been used how do we register the copy and get upgrades
Is this true? Can they not get updates?

But I never registered it I just used automatic updates that’s it.

yea they can use it, they mite have to ring up to get the activation key but its usually after 3 installs they have to do that

No, if you have already activated it with your Key there is no guarantee it will work for them ;>

It’s true what said…If you activated with the key even once and try to activate in another system…You will get the error the Key is already in use…The only way is to call Microsoft…

well if its not in use anymore, then they will issue a new key for that OS
