[Solved] Question about upgrading friends computer

September 27th, 2013

Hey guys Happy Thanksgiving!
Anyways I was wondering, my friend still cannot play many games that well because I believe his graphics card, but I am not sure which is why I am here.
His specs are: Nvidia 9800gt 1GB
Socket 1155 Mobo
i3 2100 @ 3.1 GHz
16 GB Ram
800 Wat Antec PSU
1 TB WD 5400 HDD
Unfortunately, games like GTA IV, Saints Row 3, BF3, Dead Rising 2, and Need for Speed The run seem they do not have good FPS even at low settings. Any suggestions? Thanks and again happy thanksgiving

Is the 2500k good for gaming with its unlocked multiplier? Or do you think it would be worth saving for an i7? Or even socket 2011 when it comes out?
