Yeah it would probably be able to play any of the latest games, just maybe not at max settings for a few of them.

yes it play all games but in a few months down the road you would have update it because the game will get more advance but for now it play all game
as the other guys said, this system will fly all the games without a problem.
Depends at what resolution you will be gaming at, if youre doing 1920×1200 or up you will not be able to max out some games but for the most part you should be good for moderate gaming.

Yes you could, it just depends on the resolution you are playing them. Maybe the challenge would be the latest possible games, but then again with proper video settings it should work fine.
My recommendation would be some good ATI HD graphics card with Direct X 10.1 support, or if you have money than consider some ATI HD graphics with Direct X 11 support

What price are you paying, can we ask, as alot of that is 2 years tech?
Overclock the CPU a bit, those budget quads run slower gaming thatn core 2 duo, but will be faster when overclocked. But yeh game performance will be good, you will gain frames from overclocking the cpu though.
