DVD Burning Question

Hey guys, i am using Ashampoo Burning Studio 8 and i just went to burn a DVD-R and it says its going to take at least 2-3 hours
should it take less time to burn it, or is that how it should be?

never used the program uve mentioned but 2-3 hours does seem to long. sometimes on any programs it says its gonna take that long but finishes earlier. you should try convertXtodvd, ive used that before and it works great.

yea i use convertXtoDVD it takes around 1 hour 1 and half hours to convert the file type to DVD format, then about 45 min. to burn

Ive found ‘Easy DVD Creator’ best, total time to convert and burn is less than 30 mins (usualy 22-25) but that might be cos of the pc specs, im running a Q6600 (2.4 quad) and 2 gig ddr2 800 ram
Realy easy to use aswell just pop the disk in select NTSC or PAL and 16:9 (wide) or 4:3 (standard) and add a name then click start
Can also burn pre-converted files (HD to DVD) or convert for later burning (Video to HD)
Should be a few download links in the app section, my rating 8.5/10
