HELP! PLZ!Gears of war quiting after patch is installed

Well, I downloaded and mounted GEARS OF WAR. Downloaded from here

I mounted fine… started up….I have a VALID CD key for this game. I entered my live Id and key then it proceeded to the new update. For some reason id would not download so I googled for the update. I tried to install the update and it was recognize the original setup.exe crack so I moved the original setup.exe. and the update ran fine.
I swapped the setup.exe and now it will close out after about 30 seconds into the startup of the game.. says “click on setup.exe”
Anyone know what I can do?
I don’t think you can play the game w/out the update…

Well you might have a legit key but you don’t have the original DVD..so you still need to apply a nodvd crack…and the name of the file is Startup.exe…

Yes, i know this… I did apply the nodvd crack.. thats how im able to get to the live log in screen in the first place..it just says cant download the update and to check my internet connection…
