Problem in AVG 8.0 internet Security Update Manager[Solved]

i cant update AVG bcuz the Update Manager Said Invalid Update Control CFT File i need to fix but how anyone have an idea for it?
plz help i don’t want any virus in my computer

The message said  I did a search for *.CTF files. I found two, both were located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\avg8\update\download.
I deleted both the files
Hopefully it helps someone else
