Corsair vs. Kingston (laptop RAM)

August 8th, 2016

Hi guys,
I’m just about buying some RAM for my laptop. Which brand is more realible; Kingston or Corsair? The prices are almost same.
Thanks a lot in advance!

kingston ftw. lifetime warranty. I’ve used many memory sticks from them and a few USBs and all are in good condition thus far.
Answer #2
There’s not much difference really, most of the RAM companies buy their chips from one of the 3 or 4 RAM producers in the world, so there wouldn’t be a noticeable difference in whichever brand you buy. Kingston and Corsair are reputable brands, so buy whichever one you like!
Answer #3
Either one is fine. What matters most is the frequency speed and how much it can hold.
