I installed Windows 7 and did what I do after any system reinstall and downloaded the trial version of IDM. I usually wait the 30 days, grab a patch, crack, what-have-you and re-register the software that way. After the 30 days I would sometimes run into the “registry has been corrupted…” message when starting IDM. Im sure some of you have been through that before. I would solve it by finding all the folders and registry entries, deleting them, then start fresh and it would work. Well this time Im using Windows 7 and I cant seem to find the registry entries. I remember they were in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software in Vista but not in Windows 7. When I try to patch the software now it tells me its been registered to a fake serial number. Does anyone know how to COMPLETELY clean IDM from Windows 7 so I can start fresh? Maybe next time Ill just install a patched version when I reinstall Windows 7 to avoid all this again
