strange error while trying to instal autocad 2009
August 4th, 2016
grtz,
it’s most likely a 32-bit application. however, 64-bit should be able to emulate 32-bit and allow the 32-bit program to be used, however autocad is a massive program that requires large amounts of system resources (memory, processor).
either check to see if your memory load is being slammed during install procedure initial load, or try finding the 64-bit ver (if it exists).
Or, if no 64-bit exists, and you cannot afford to purchase more system memory to aid in emulating 32-bit for the install/use, consider using x86 architecture (32-bit) for your OS instead of x64.
you might have seen my pc specs, soo i thinnk i have enough memory.. :s and my processor is alsow one of the better once.. :s ive been able to run it on mylaptop that is vista ultimate 32 bit but on this baby he givess and error, i just downloaded it cause its very eazy to practice (do the work i normaly shud do at scool) on autocad… :s alsow in the packageive downloaded, it says x86 (soo that 32bit) i think its caused cause it can only run on a 32 bit =s
grtz, , tnx for fast respond
if it runs on your 32-bit laptop, but not on your 64-bit pc, it’s most likely not compatible.\
check autocad’s website to see if there are any fixes or if a 64-bit is available.
emulating 32-bit for autocad on a 64-bit OS wouldn’t be very efficient for rendering models, ect.
kk tnx, il search for it…
grtz,
I recently upgraded to 64 bit and found my cad would not install,
All you need to do is download a 64 bit cad version and it will work..
