ESET Beginning to block Trial Key Websites for Nod32

Yeah so I’ve noticed that when I turn on my computer and TNOD does the auto key grab for a trial update, that Nod32 Antivirus is blocking the trial websites that the keys are grabbed from… Anyone got a workaround for this? I tried adding the websites to the exceptions list, but as expected that would be much too easy a workaround for ESET to let happen..
This only happens intermittently so I’m assuming these are when TNOD tries to access multiple sites when finding invalid keys.

go to the websites manually to get a key? maybe even on your phone?
this may sound pretentious, but why do people even use premium anti-virus software nowadays? the only advantage is customer support. free anti-virii software does the job just as well, if not better.
consider comodo/outpost. complete security suites that are free for personal use.

Simply put I don’t trust free anti-virus, I work as a technician and every time I see a computer with a virus its because the computer has been running AVG or Panda or some crap like that. Though I may give your recommendation or Comodo/Outpost a try.

as a technician i come across these programs too. you need to remember however that the people using them are mongs. security software can’t protect against idiocy
when kept up-to-date and alerts complied with, free anti-virii is just as effective as premium ones. the good thing about comodo (moreso than outpost) is it’s very self-intuitive so you don’t have to worry about said warnings.
if you do want to stick with eset i’m not too sure. like i recommend, if you can get a list of the sites the application uses, try and go on another device just to receive a key when needed.
