Chipped Wii Help Needed

Traded a wii for an xbox, guy said it was chipped, i have no clue what chip it is. Anyway to find out?

Anyway to find out what chip is in it, or anyway to find out if it’s chipped?
If it’s the latter…Just download a game from here, burn it, and pop it in.
If it’s the aforementioned, you’ll probably have to open it up.

If it’s chipped there is no warrenty, so you can just open it up and look. Although I would follow a guide cause there are a few things that should not be touched, or you might die. And like prozac said, it really shouldn’t matter that much. Just download away and enjoy!
