“Licensing subsystem failed catastrophically.”

I downloaded Adobe After Effects from http://www.google.com?t=2277741&highlight=
I extracted it into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3
and it gives me ”
“The licensing subsystem has failed catastrophically. You must reinstall or call customer support.”
Please help.
I am running on Vista and have plenty of disk space left.

Umm, no it doesn’t.
I do not have FLEXnet.
You must remember that I have downloaded from that link and am on Vista. If someone else has downloaded for this too, could you help me out?

Yes.
It had already come up with that link that was given to me.
I spent half an hour or so on Google and have only come here as a last resort.

have you denied the application web access via a firewall? this may be scuppering your overwriting attemps. regards.
