Warez-bb.org users favorite External Hard Drives?
July 25th, 2016
That is what i can afford at the current time. Any suggestions, places to buy? I usually buy from:
http://www.tigerdirect.com
Since they have reliable service and ultra fast shipping.
What do you guys use? Remember, i prefer 1-2TB drives which i know are somewhat pricey. This way i can take my stuff when i go college this semester and vacation.
Newegg.
WD 1TB Green power.

I’ll check it out, thanks! Keep posting guys.
This one ya mean? Doesn’t seem to have very good reviews though. I always check those carefully when it comes to hardware. Price is great though!

Is that portable or needs to be plugged in?
Also, my favorite would be unknown. I have this portable 150GB HDD which has a platinum trademark logo on it. Not sure if that’s a company or not. But the HDD runs fine! Never had problems with it. I converted it to FAT32 to use it on my PS3. And it’s good to go. My second choice would be WD while my LAST choice would be ROCK&ROCO HDD’s

I would recommend the freeagent drives, as out of my WD, hitachi, and freeagent drives it lasted the longest. but none of them lasted more than a year.
and I too recommend buying from newegg.
Answer #5
I’m looking for something with decent transfer speed so that i can stream videos from. Its gonna be used with a laptop that i get next semester so it will be good to have the speed and storage combination.
Answer #6
Most good drives require you to install it yourself.
So a good encloser paired with a good drive.
A standard WD GP drive with a Coolermaster 3.5 Inch ESATA encloser.

Seagate are very very good, I’ve got the 320gb equivalent of that and it’s extremely reliable, 2 years and no problems. Western digital tend to break at anything over 250gb apparently.
