[SOLVED]Buying new printer

I had a look on the Canon PIXMA IP90v but i am not sure if it is best bang for the buck. Is the resolution : 4800 dpi x 1200 dpi enough ?
I have a feeling Canon does a better job at printing photos than HP but i could be wrong.
Is there any printers out there at the moment which is a really good buy ?
I have read some reviews but i thought there must be some wise experts in here.
Anyone can guide me a little ?
