Upgrading Vista to Windows 7

I dont think you can with the rip version that is online. Keep in mind its a beta and the one online is way older beta not the new one m$ has shown. Its going to give you problems i suggest you try it in Vmware or separate partition.

ya, like stated above, right now there is no current upgrade version of windows 7 to well upgrade. furthermore, the current windows 7 found on the scene() is a windows 7 pre-beta i believe. and there is currently no way to bypass the 30 day trial of the OS. the only thing would be to install windows 7 from scratch and use some simple hacks to unlock the glamorous GUI.
but i would go with VMware too in simple short words
i wouldnt install a beta unless you just testing it

^ and even IF he were testing it, he wouldnt want to do it over his main OS just on the side with a partition ( i recommend acronis director suite) or a virtual mation (VMware, Microsoft Virtual PC)
lol, I have several HDD’s in my computer so I just cleaned out a 160 GB drive. going to dunp it on that.

yea no clue but if you want here is the link of i think the os developers, they are reporting their progress and hey who knows a leak might come in (not from m$)
