Help making a metal S in photoshop.

I am trying to make this badge showing the words SFFD but i am having trouble making the S… I would like to know if there is a text or font quite like the one in the picture below which will match the color of the metal.
Or is there is a way to create the S making it look like the other 3 letters?

Its not quite finished yet so it still need some work.

i would black out the center and write SFFD fresh in afont of your choice

might as well, i will look for a good tutorial on making a good font for it, does anyone have any suggestions?
