Considering buying Rapidshare account

January 28th, 2020

ok iv been using Rs on and for a few months now for random stuff and i recently found and its fantastic the way it operates
and now im downloading Daily but i dont like the timers and the way u can only download one at a time and then have to wait 15 minutes!
iv got a question though
Who has bought an account and was it worth it ?
and can u download multiple files at the same time
i had a look at the sticky topic about this and didnt see an answer
and secondly last time i bought an RS account it was for 3 days and it didnt work .. i dont know why i got help from a friend on irc who had a RS account and he couldnt figure it out
anyway
your thoughts would be great

If I was you I’ll invest my money in a megauploads account…rapidshare limit to 2.6 GB a day is a joke..you can’t even download half a game with that…
Answer #3
theres one problem with buying a MU account
alot more people use RS then Mu or am i just looking in all the wrong places?
Answer #4
I bought a rs acount and it was great but now with the new limits and all I’m gonna switch to mu
more and more people are going to do that I guess so maybe now more people use rs but I think they will al switch and there will be more mu links in the future
But hey that’s just my opinion :p
Answer #5
hmm

i could buy them both how valid is your opinion though i’d love to know what others think
Answer #6
I bought a 30 day RS account to try it out and i never regreted it.
I am going to extend my accound before it runs out (in 2 days)
Answer #7
Megashares, don’t WASTE your money on RS nowadays.
Answer #8
yeah but..the 2.6 gigs a day kinda puts me off
Answer #9
I have bought one and continue to pay for it, some things are just worth the money and when I run out of time I will convert my points for another account or maybe a prize I dunno yet. But yes it’s worth it if you download a lot.

Yes Was Well Worth It
and can u download multiple files at the same time
Yes You Can As Many As You Want
Answer #11
Rapidshare is worth it but if i were you I’d either wait a while and see how Rapidshare handles this 2.6GB/day fiasco or if you still want to try it buy a 30 day account and try it out.
Answer #12
just use Emule or torrents, i’d say a lot more people are going back to it now that RS have started this 2.66GB/day joke. not only that, but now i’ve just lost my list of files from my premium a/c, they decide to add a ‘lock account’ function. would have been handy if they’d thought of it b4hand, so i wouldn’t have lost all my files!
anyway i wouldn’t be bothered purchasing an account from them for now, you should abstain along with a lot more people, this is the only way of letting RS know that paying customers are not going to be bullied, and screwed over ‘just because they can’ be.

Go with Newsgroups instead. Astraweb is only $11/mo for unlimited speeds/downloads

it only applies for new members or if you extend your account
Answer #17
If you can wait, wait and see how this site changes once the 2.66 Gb limit takes over most of the accounts. Depending on that, choose between MU and RS.
Answer #18
Rapidshare are only applying the 2.66GB/day or 80GB/month rule to new and extended accounts.
Answer #19
I i were you, i’d rather go for a MU or MS account… yet you’ll find much more MU links than MS ones.
Answer #20
RS is still the best out there.
Answer #21
I have a RS account that is good until 09/08/09 so I am exempt from the 2.6GB/Day for now, I will not renew my account with RS unless they revert back to the old limit or a realistically comparative quota.
I am going with MU as long as they don’t limit quota like RS did.

The 2.6GB cap is for new/extended accounts past Nov 4th. So your good for now but eventually they will put it on you.
