Itunes Alternative/Overclocking

September 12th, 2013

Hi guys,
Itunes loads ok on my computer, however when i play the music it always slows the music, it plays fine but half way through the music jumps/freezes and crackles on all my songs.
Really annoyin,
Can anyone suggest a better alternative? in which i can manage my music.
also, i’m running Intel(r) core(tm) i3 -2310M CPU @210 GHz
With 4gb Ram,
So i don;t see itunes having an issue, would i benefit from overclocking? and how do i go about this?
Does it harm my computer?

Answer #1
No overclocking is needed/possible.
Is it just itunes and not any other players?
Answer #2
ah ok
and also
It’s just itunes. @ times it sounds like my music is being played under water and crackling.
but when i use WMP it doesn’t, its perfect. i don’t like WMP though
Answer #3
try winamp maybe ?
never liked itunes and its only installed on 1 of my pc’s to copy over songs
Answer #4
Why does everyone hate WMP so much? I’ve been using it for a year now.
I’ve never had it Crash or play songs badly.
Its even Very quick at loading my library of Music(Over 110GB).
Can find all your Music, on your computers or even set it up to find it from certain folders.
If your Missing artwork, or even ID3 Tag info about songs, you can Highlight the Album, Find Album info and use Microsofts database to find the Album, with all its info.
Easy to Share your Library over your home network.
Integrates with Windows Media Center, for which i use my WME remote.
