How to let Opera remember last page settings? [SOLVED]

September 23rd, 2013

Hi,
Is it possible to let Opera remember page settings like you last visited?
Example: to open the page in the same “zoom size” as you last visited. I tried a few times but it resets it every time.

Opera is terrible, use Firefox, it will do this for you.

NoSquint addon for Firefox will do this for you.

Listen man.. ,i use firefox as my first browser but today i installed opera just for the fun and i want to use it for now and then. I like the interface too but again nothing beats ff! You’re right ff remember the zoom settings even WITHOUT the add-on you say AND FOR EVERY PAGE INDIVIDUALLY!!! What do you want more? The most browsers use 1 zoom size for every page and worse..: it resets every time you reboot it!? Again.. another proof that Firefox is the king in the jungle! But sometimes use another browser for a little bit change is not bad..

Fanboy obviously calls Opera terrible as he has no experience with it. Firefox had its day, its useless now.
Just save the page/pages as a session and whatever zoom you have on the page will still be set after rebooting. http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/open-page-with-preferred-page-zoom-in-opera

You see.. it has nothing to do with i’m a fanboy of FF but in some cases you see it’s the best!!!!
In FF there is no need to save a session or i don’t know what.. it saves every page settings automatically WITHOUT you have to do something..

lolz – he was referring to SmAsHeDr as fanboy, not you (look at his avatar)
He has answered your original question – is that not what you want ?
btw – I use Opera most of the time, because it’s much faster than FF and I like the mouse gestures

Ow ok i thought it was to me!
But everybody got different taste and to me still.. FF is the overall winner and not to me only.. the moust sites that did research to all the browsers give FF as the winner too and that because 1. Speed + the best for use.
I have on my pc now all the 4 browsers and now and then i use them 1 by one but again.. every time i go back to FF because it does the job like i really want!
I’m gonna give you an example of how IE has enough to work on and that is: in FF you can highlight a link and then right click and immediately go to that link in a new tab!!!!.. In IE you highlight it then you can only choose for “copy” then you have to copy the link into the url bar.. AND EVEN THEN YOU HAVE TO PUSH INDIVIDUALLY TO go to that site while in case the most browser and FF you can choose “paste&go”.. .
That is just 1 example i gave there are many others that really makes soms browser uncomfortable to me..

Yep sorry I wasn’t referring to you Windows 7, wow I’m talking to an operating system now xD Opera has had the paste and go feature for years now.
