Flash Drive

When i plug my Flash Drive in and try to access it it always says “Pleas insert a disk into removable disk (f”. On other computers it works, it will come up with the logon screen for it and i can access the drive. But on my new laptop it dont work.

Try downloading the latest driver for your SanDisk U3 Cruzer:

Nope..with XP SP2 and Vista you don’t need a driver..try pluging it to a different usb port…

ORLY?! Well, you will find that you are wrong in that aspect. In many cases, a driver is required because Windows doesn’t recognize the hardware

Ok mate..if you say so…I’m just going by my experience..I have 5 different usb pens a usb mini hd..i used them in many installations of xp and vista and never needed a driver for any of them..and some of them come with a mini driver cd..but only for windows 98 and 2000…

Your unlikely to need a driver for USB Flash Memory in Windows XP, the majority of the hardware manufacturers are covered by XP’s Plug and Play drivers.
