LImewire + router

Hey, iv actualy got Frostwire, which is exactly the same as limewire.
i connect to the internet using a router, and our ISP has us behind a fire.
and i just cant get frostwire to work?
i wish i could kick the router to get it to work… What information do i need to have to be able to configure frostwire and make it work? please.

you have to unblock your ports.
typically limewire/frostwire opterate on ports 6881 to 6889.
you have to ublock these in your router, and your software firewall for the program to connect to the network.
