I keep getting Emails from adult dating websites!

February 10th, 2020

What the ~ censored ~…
I first received 2 messages, not listed as “Spam”, a few weeks ago from “adultfriendfinder”.
It first sent a message that I need to login to activate, and a few days later sent a message saying that I didn’t log in yet and that it’s important that I’ll log in soon or the account “won’t be listed”.
I didn’t log in into that, but I didn’t receive another Email to know if it actually deleted that account that was created… I’m not sure how.
Now I’ve looked in the spam directory, and I keep getting messages from “fling” or something saying “Blah blah blah has checked your profile!”, “Blah blah blah wants to be listed in your blah blah”.
At least it shows pictures of women and not some strange old men, but WTF is this?
This time it didn’t even send a message about registration.
If there really was a registration in both websites, how the hell did it happen?
If it happened twice, for real, does it mean that it’s most likely an automatic registration from a spam system?
Because I get dozens of spam Emails every day for some reason. Probably, somehow about a 1000,000 different spam systems got my Email address.

Answer #1
just report it as a spam with your email host.
Answer #2
It doesn’t do anything.
It just moves it to spam and I still get messages.
And anyway – that won’t delete the accounts. If there are actually ones and it’s not a pure spam.
Answer #3
join the club I get about 40 a day most emai address especialy if used for forums will sooner or later be harvested and subject to this spam
Answer #4
i think you should change your email id to some really unchachy name awkward name like user24842008424 @ your mail host . com
coz many spammers dont get your email directly they guess an id and send spam to that like suppose mike @ mail.com
Answer #5
It’s not obvious, and I don’t think that they “guess” it anyway.
I keep getting spam, more every day, so they got it from another website probably or through some spyware.
The thing is that I even get spam from “myself”.
I hope that those faggots don’t use my address for other people as well.
I don’t see the logic in using it for the specific person, but I get so many from “myself” that it’s just too much.
If it does that with other people as well “I’m” probably 50% of other people’s spam folder.
Answer #6
its probably not frm you just spoofed to look that way unless your pc is hijacked and is now part of a spamming bot net
Answer #7
I didn’t say that it’s actually from me.
I don’t know how does it work exactly but someone here already said about that that there are softwares to fake it.
But it doesn’t matter as it still send spam using my address which is not wanted, obviously, and the amount I get from “myself” is just huge.
Answer #8
sorry to say there is nothing you can doo about other than change your address annd inform all contacts of the change
Answer #9
change your address or just mark everything as spam. If you want for your email to be completely spam free, you are living in a wonderland.
