Hello

  • Download SmitFraudFix from the link below
    http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

  • Reboot into Safe mode by rapidly pressing F8 before the Windows loading screen
  • Run SmitFraudFix. Press 2 and it will start cleaning. If asked to do a registry clean answer yes
  • It will come back with a log (rapport.txt) found at the root of the system dir (C:\)
  • Boot back into normal Windows and post the contents of that log file in a [code] box in this thread. I’ll give you further instructions
  • If you cannot download SmitFraudFix say so as the spyware might block it from being downloaded

Good luck
Answer #2
This is a spyware leading you to another spyware by downloading it. Go to safe mode and do these:
1. Click start –> run
2. type: msconfig (and hit enter)
3. click startup tab and uncheck all unnecessary and unknown to you.
4. Click Apply + ok. Don’t restart yet.
5. Go to c:\program files
6. Find those folders which are unknown to you and delete them.
7. Go to Control panel and uninstall those applications which, again, are unknown to you. They should look like Virus Blaster, Total Spyware Eliminator…something like that.
8. Restart.

Answer #3
I agree with but very few viruses list themselves in the control panel. Your best bet is to try a full scan with malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org. Update, scan, restart immediately. Then run a quick scan with SUPERantispyware www.superantispyware.com
Answer #4
Dont click those ads. I would suggest you install SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes they are freeware. If they dont succeed then you switch antivirus, get Kaspersky or McAfee.
Go to my virus removal tutorial, in step 7 there is list of several web scanners, you scan with those to make sure you catch everything that is bad, they make logs, you paste logs here. Or install the antivirus that catches the most stuff.
Answer #5
I would suggest the same…. I had the same problem and had done the above process in SAFE MODE.. Please make sure you do the trouble shooting in SAFE MODE…
Answer #6
ComboFix plus Malwarebytes Antimalware will fix that problem, as a previous poster showed – what you have is a variant of the SmithFraud virus. Run ComboFix to eliminate it, and run Malwarebytes to clear the leftovers.
