What should I upgrade in my computer next?
August 5th, 2016
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.2 2.2
4.0 GB of RAM
Nvidia 8600 GTS XXX Edition
400GB HDD
Intel G33 Express Chipset
300W Power Supply
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
video card
video card and psu. Since that PSU wont be able to hold a much more powerful card
GPU and new PSU, a 500W Antec / Seasonic / Enermax / Corsair / OCZ psu would be perfect. And after a while a new cpu,
Is this a good Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148027
I mean its 34.99 and after a rebate it is only 19.99 which sounds like an unbeatable price but do you know how well Apevia’s products are? Will it last a decent time?

To be honest, it’s a piece of sh*t, there is a reason why those brands I told you about cost more
This. The PSU is the only component where the price correlates to the quality of the unit. If you see a 600W PSU for $20, be suspicious.
Thanks, can you recommend any good GPU upgrades? I don’t know much about those =/

anything above 9800GT is excellent.. but costs some money.. i would recommend 9800 though
AMD 4770 with a decent 600 Watt PSU for a bit of future proofing. So first to last: PSU, video card, CPU.
Id go with the psu then video card. I dont think ur cpu needs much help

PSU upgrade first, get a high quality PSU. Corsair/thermaltake/antec/asus. Then upgrade your gpu.
PSU 500-600w with pci-e. 80+ if possible.
ATI 4850’s are going for $90 or less on ebay too…
But pricepoint/value I would do this:
