Yes, there is a nitrous/boost feature, you have to unlock it buy winning a certain race for each car, check options menu for key/button depending on keyboard/gamepad.

Yes there is a nitro in the game just need to finish a race for every car to unlock nitro and off road tires and all check the list for unlockables when you win a race cheers

Check the options screen, it will tell you what buttons do what.
Are you using keyboard or gamepad ???
If for some reason the options screen doesn’t give you a list of the controls (which I would find hard to believe), then just accelerate and press every other button whilst accelerating. As long as you have nitrous (indicated by the glowing blue bar) it will work. The key/button that generates the blue exhaust flame is your nitrous button.
