Convert FLV to AVI
January 31st, 2020
I have an external Hard Drive with different movie files on,
all of them work on my 32″ LG Plasma,
but my Brother has a 42″ one and FLV files dont work,
I use movie-forumz to download films and even though they say .avi in the description,
they’re actually .flv
I tried a program called Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate,
took an hour to convert to .avi but the quality was alot more poor,
anyone have any other ideas?
tried handbrake ?
Handbrake only shows MP4 or MKV….
shame i think its the only video converter to be quite fast at converting.
there is xillisoft but i honestly think its ~love~ :/, probably better asking a somebody who uploads alot of videos to see what they do.
Free FLV Converter 3.5.15.1 – Media Converter
The conversion is available into the following formats: avi, mpeg-1, mpeg-2, mp4, mov, ipod, psp, iPhone, 3gp and mp3.

not sure why it shows .avi on the descriptions on PutLocker when downloading…. yet when actually downloading they’re .flv, weird!
Thanks i’ll try that.

Does anyone know the reason why the TV wont play .FLV files?
I have the 42″ Plasma LG
my Mother has the 52″ 3D LG
and my Brother as the 52″ LG
all files work on my Mothers and mine but for some reason only .AVI work on my brothers,
it shows the Movie file but with nothing inside,
just abit weird it works on my mine and my Mothers.
I’d also suggest trying freemake. But flv isn’t the best format to begin with, so anything you use may not turn out suitable quality. You say where you’re getting files from that they’re flv’s. Can’t you get avi’s from here?
I use Movie-Forumz.tv to look for Movies,
and then I pay Monthly for PutLocker….
most films I download are .AVI,
but then some (usually the ones my Brother wants) are .FLV or some other file that cant be played on his TV,
yet all files play on mine and my Mothers,
it’s just weird as they’re all pretty much the same TV’s.
