Don’t know what to do with these files

I d/l’d the seventh harry potter game and all i got was 74 .001 files in subsequent order, e.g 001, .002, and so on and also a sfv file . I know you’re supposed to use hj split, but whenever i join i just one big file, 7gb, no extension, jsut file. I”ve tried changing it’s extension to .iso or .rar but that doesn’t work. How do i extract this?

Try extracting them directly with 7zip:

if its an exe file, be carefull

wow 7zip worked! it’s an iso, not an .exe. So i guess there’s no reason to have hjsplit anymore if 7zip can extract those .00* extension files then huh, thx for the help!

i think you might still need hjsplit for some files in the future.

sometimes you need hjsplit and sometimes 7zip or winrar.
hjsplit does not work everytime i had a problem with this too till i trieed winrar
