Vista re-Install

I re installed vista in hopes to wipe my system clean and find out that it has saved everything in one of my other hard drives?
I tried to format/delete it and it doesn’t allow me.
Grr!
Any help would be much appreciated!

you shoudl be able to delete it? you can try yet another reinstall and make sure you format hdd during install..

There are no options to format when I install from the prompt menu?
