Rapidgator / Jdownloader issues

January 23rd, 2020

Every time I try to download a free user link and que it in Jdownloader. It does the typical captcha check, wait 45 seconds and once it’s starts to download. The link will change into some weird kb size file and it finishes downloading within 2 seconds, saying “extraction has failed”?
Yes I tried re-installing Jdownloader. Same occurrence.
I even tried downloading via browser side at the home site. Nothing happens once I download the link. I tried pressing Alt and clicking the hyperlink when downloading from the browser. Still nothing. Why can’t I download rapidgator links any more?
Am I the only one?

You could give JD2 a try:

There’s also Mipony:

As for the browser problem, Yes it’s just you! Maybe your using an outdated browser, or it’s caused by a certain plugin or improper settings of a sort. Also, You should try deleting your cookies/cache.

i had that happen last night cant make no odds of it totally weird happened on every file from rapidgator
Answer #3
Well I downloaded both. JD2 did the same exact thing. Mipony just said “download error”.
It’s not a firewall issue. Because I tried it with Microsoft security essentials off.
Anyone? Have they stopped allowing US transmissions or something?
Answer #4
Is there another computer on your network that you could try downloading with?
Answer #5
Try a different browser and do it without a download manager..
Answer #6
Not sure but i think Rapidgator tries to download its own downloader by default which is 300kb in size.Going through my browser i just took tick out of download rapidgator downloader after the 45 second wait and clicked download file and it worked

I’ve tried with Chrome and mozilla. It won’t even start downloading in Mozilla.

Answer #10
Try it again now should work. Think it was a problem with the site
Answer #11
Yep, working now, thanks
Answer #12
I am having this problem with Rapidgator and JDownloader, the new RG URL format is broken in JDownloader and no patch yet. If I go to the URL in the browser and download, it works. JD reports dead/offline. I am a premium user. Will try JD2 though, thanks for the link.
Answer #13
Have tried jd2 myself just now some links work but others still come up as offline yet work in the browser also im a premuim user
Answer #14
Same experience as with JD2 – the old format links are grabbed just fine and I can download. The new format links (any posted since March 2 or so) are broken and reported as offline (but work in the browser on rapidgator.com).
