how apply updates to ripped games? also batches

August 2nd, 2016

Here’s an example but nobody replied in that thread, so

Cause I’m total newbie to this, so I see people post ripped games and I get that, but then they say apply crack, so I guess that means replace whatever files in normal game folder with crack.
Then there are other thigns like batch, which I don’t know what that is or how apply it.
Or like above link with updates.
They’re in separate download.
Do these come with own explanations?
Would really appreciate it cause there been several nice games I did not download cause was not sure what to do with update downloads, especially if there are two, like not knowing if I should maybe extract update one in main folder and then do the second or just use the second, etc.
Please remember to double check that all your links have been coded. #3.10 links must be coded - including, but not limited to, e-mail addresses, passwords and internal links.

It varies slightly between every release. There’s usually a file with the extension .NFO that you need to open with Notepad. By default Windows will display this as a ‘System Information File’ and try and open it with some built-in tool, so just right click it > open with > Notepad.
There’s usually a folder included in the game you download with the name of the release group (RELOADED,RAZOR, etc) or just ‘crack’. In there there will be a few files. You need to replace the files in your installed game directory with these and click yes when asked to replace. Some may not ask you to replace, and simply be added to the folder, that’s fine – some cracks require extra files to work properly. I’d always recommend you make a backup of the original .exe (highlight it, ctrl +c, ctrl + v) just in case it’s needed in the future.
Updates are ran like any installable file, and you just point it at the game directory. If it complains about the versions not matching, simply use your backup of the original .exe and replace the cracked .exe with it. Most updates nowadays come with the original .exe included in case you didn’t make a back up.
Batch is a term used for a number of commands paired together and ran from a single file in Windows. It’ll usually make a black command prompt window appear and perform the commands, then close. Sometimes they ask for input (y/n to confirm changes).
