will PC powre supply in US hold voltage in Europe

Unless your power supply will run on 120-240V, I wouldn’t take it. If its active PFC PSU 120-240, I would take it.
If its passive PFC, you would have to switch the switches around, a PSU as old as this one, I would throw it away. Smoke will come out running a 120V PSU in a 240V source.
If i take my pc to europe and just ad one of the plug adapters will run into problems with the voltage?
I assume you mean your laptop as taking a desktop computer overseas is not an easy task!
Back on subject, It all depends on whether your laptop’s AC adapter supports 230/240v or not.
A plain plug adapter (Which is more commonly called a travel adapter) DOES NOT convert the voltage, So
the device has to support it (Otherwise it’d fry!)
So you should have a good look on your AC adapter and determine whether it’s universal or not. If it only supports US voltage, Then you’d have to get a new one (Or a travel voltage adapter – Which actually converts it)
Good luck!
i see thanx guys
If you are coming to the UK, I hope you aren’t paying the bills
