AB Tutor Control
July 28th, 2013
My school use this program called AB Tutor Control, and it allows the teachers to take over our screens in order to show us something (like help in IT). But, our teacher is really n00bish and she takes over our scrteens to show us every tiny little detail. It gets really annoying after a while. I was wondering if there was someway i could cancel the screen share from my client side, like a keyboard shortcut or something. In an older version of the program, Ctrl Alt and Delete would cancel it for our screens, but that got patched. The only thing that works now is Rebooting it, but thats no good id i have work open. Any one know a way past it?
Thanks,
Try Ctrl Alt Esq and then change application. Or kill the process of the AB tutor. It will work.
Another way. Use windowskey + R to open RUN, open a command line by typing “cmd” and hit enter. (or just open a comand line yourself in start menu).
NOW THIS: Type in cmd: “TASKKILL /IM ##NAME## /F” Where ##NAME”” is the name of the process of ab tutor. I bealive that in your case is “ABClient.exe”.
SOooo in your case “taskkill /IM ABClient.exe /F” in command line should do the trick.
The diference to my previous post is that USUALY (in schools and work computerd) Task manager is blocked by regular users. Only Admins can open it. Command line in the other side usualy is open
