Tiger woods pga tour 2007 pcgame not detecting direct x

I downloaded Tiger woods pga tour 2007 pc game (cracked game) from megauploadforum.net. When installing the game the following error comes ” Installation cannot continue you need to have direct 9 or higher installed on your computer”. I checked in can u run it games website and my pc passes all requirements including directx 9. After that I installed directx 10 in my pc but still the error comes up. 2 people downloaded the game and it worked for them . Is there any solution for this? Help needed!!!

The easiest thing to do is to go to start menu –> run and in the run box type in
d:\\autorun.exe -DXInstalled where d:\\ is your optical drive letter. This will tell the game to skip the DX installation step.

I cannot find the path where directx installed may be it was not installed properly but it gives message that it was installed properly and ready to use. Can u give me the link where i can i download directx 9 or higher version?
