Graphics Reset
October 29th, 2017
About a month ago, one of my laptops had an error while instaling Service Pack 1 for Vista. Unable to start Windows, I decided to install Windows 7. I still don’t know how nor why, but it seems as the graphics reseted.
I’m supposed to have NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU.
This is the data provided by Piriform’s Speccy:

I’ve tried installing:

but it says it can’t find compatible hardware.
Any help? Thanks in advance
try this site for “custom” drivers
http://laptopvideo2go.com/
some lappy mfg’ers don’t want nvidia supporting their video and this site “fixes” that with a modded INF file
or you could try installing the vista drivers from your lappy’s support site, if there’s no 7 ones
didn’t work, but thank you anyway
didn't work
after replacing the INF ?
after following both advices
any error while trying to install after replacing the INF
Everything stays the same
what laptop is this ??
Install directx 10
