Buying a new Laptop need help..

Hi guys.. I’m looking to buy a new laptop. My budget will be 1000 $ (Canadian almost same as US) or less..
Looking for dell or HP laptops.. Not interested in MACbook etc
Will be mainly used for gaming, Image processing etc…
For the processor I’ed like to have i5 or i7..
According the the websites I’ve visited.. HP offers ATI 5650 gfx card while Dell gave nvidia 435M.. Which one would be better..?
Also If you guys have any other brands like acer etc.. I will surely like to have a look.. Thanks a ton..
