Upgrading to Windows 8.1 question

I have cracked version of Microsoft Office 2013 installed which I used the Skype phone activation method.
I heard that if you upgrade to Windows 8.1 that you need to re-activate them, is this true? What about other cracked software that I have like photoshop, will they stay cracked?

everything will need to be activated again unless ya just upgrade over it instead of fresh installing it shudnt need to be re-activated then if ya just upgrade over it

Office 2013 will need activated again. Windows will check on it and if the key you used has been blocked then it will put Office into 30 day trial mode.
Best way forward is to:
– install the Volume Licence edition of Office 2013
– Google pastebin for new MAK keys
– use the Skype phone activation method
Other software is not effected.
