Help needed fast: Word document strange signs?

So I open my word file, and instead of text, I find this:

Any solution for this, what could cause this to happen???

Is it your work? Either it is corrupted or using wrong encoding. Big percentage it is corrupted.

right click the file, click properties, check in the Previous Version tab. See if there are any listed.
Otherwise, yeah, might be corrupted. You can always try; Open word, go to File -> Open, and one of the drop down boxes will be Open + Repair. Select that, and open the file. Try opening on another PC to confirm it’s not just your PC having the issue.

thx guys, tried everything yesterday, reparing, opening on other PCs, converting online to pdf, doc-dox, opening online, opening in notepad…nothing worked… So I gave up, and wrote all 30 pages again…
It would be interesting, though, to know what caused it… File was sent to me, and it was like that from the moment i opened it….
Anyway, thank you for your suggesions
