I used “tuneup utilities” & now “Utorrent
January 29th, 2020
I let it do its thing and then I un-installed it.
Now whenever I use Utorrent, the first core in my 2 core CPU max’s out (100% usage) and the torrent’s don’t want to download.
Any idea’s of what’s going wrong?
torrents are your problem. seriously, no idea. sorry.
You don’t like torrents? You’re kidding right?
Dude, with torrents you just open up TBP (for example) and there is a search bar on the home page (easy as pie, right?), you search for something and then you sort the results by relevance then download! the torrent program catches the download and it can download at max speed with little issue, because so many people use torrents these days that the speeds are pretty much always fast.
People can leave comments for each torrent, and from my own experience its quite rare to encounter viruses. Torrents = WAY easier and a lot less hassle, and its FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
torrents are the way to go with out a doubt.
as far as your cpu usage, maybe its something that utorrent is doing that is causing this? Maybe try re-installing fresh.
Iv done a reinstalled, it didn’t help. Though I may try again.
Torrents are only good if you seed too. With file host like back in the old days where people had a proud message “All our files are stored on our own server” you are getting the good ol’ fast speed, and you can download and go. With P2P the source needs to be always online, the connection must not be used apart for downloading/seeding, and as soon as you leave its game over (Think of Soulseek). So yeah Soulseek is good stuff to share peer to peer but zippyshare is even better and how it should be really. P2P is not a breakthrough in protocols, it’s inconvenience while we live in harsh times. If there was no copy rights, P2P wouldn’t even need to exist.
You may need to do a System Restore to a point before you ran AVG.. I have never had problems with TuneUp Utilities!
