few questions.
1) how easy is it to install the applications i find on here incomparsion to pc? cracked applications etc 2) best program that can load doc and excel. is it free or not?
3) i believe a new OSX has been announced. will i be able to install it when its out, will it be a free upgrade?
4) below is the spec from football manager 14 (probably the most demanding program i will run). Has anyone played it on a macbook air? i Know the specs are higher than the machine just checking to see if it is playable.
Mac System Requirements
OS: Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 Processor: Intel Core 1.8GHz+ Memory: 1 GB RAM Graphics: NVidia GeForce 7300 GT ATI Radeon X1600 Intel GMA X3100 128MB VRAM Network: Broadband Internet connection Hard Drive: 3 GB available space Additional Notes: OpenGL 2.0 compliant
Sorry for all the questions. Any advise is appreciated.

Answer #1
Not really a Mac user, So I can only answer #2 and #4:
2. Microsoft Office (There’s a Mac OS version too!) or Libre Office.
Technically, The first one is not free (But hey, You’re on …)
4 – If the minimum hardware requirements are met, It should run perfectly fine (Obviously, You’ll need to use the Mac version of the game, Unless you wanna install Windows via Bootcamp!)

Mind being more specific? Honestly, Your reasoning doesn’t make any sense.
If you’ve purchased a laptop that has poor hardware specs, Then you really can’t blame it on the OS!
If it’s running too slowly, Maybe you just have too many apps running on startup, Not enough RAM, Or you’re using
bloatware security (antivirus/firewall) software. Btw, If you find the default Win8 GUI frustrating and hard to work with, Then I’m sure you’ll find this app very useful:

Thanks for the advice! just dont like the win8 GUI, will try the app though.
Answer #3
That app would give you the classic GUI you’re accustomed to, So I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
Set that aside, You do realize that you have the ability to install any Windows/Linux OS you want on it right? Not liking the OS is not a good enough reason to switch to a Mac.
