Transformers Fall of Cybertron Black Box Trojan.

February 2nd, 2017

Yesterday I installed Transformers Fall of Cybertron Black Box version. However; I get a Trojan when I try to run the game as detected by AVG. Is this actually a Trojan virus or can I ignore it? Thanks!
Answer #1
Nothing new..Anti-viruses always detect scene releases as Virus/Trojan especially the cracks..
Answer #2
Since its a Black Box version it has no crack file. The Trojan alert is nothing to worry about?
Answer #3
I never use The Black box version..But I assume it’s already cracked..
Answer #4
So its nothing to worry about?
Answer #5
Black box always include crack files in their installations.
They used Skidrow crack as I can see.
Usually there is nothing to worry about, but to be sure to not worry about, use better AV program, a lot better than AVG.
Anyway, you can test your file here and see what other AV programs will say for that file/s:

Answer #6
What message does it say the virus is?
If it’s VMProtect, it’s OK – a false positive. the cracks tries to overlay something in memory, usually it’s a steam_api.dll file.
Answer #7
What kind of virus? Trojan dont give out much detail.
Most crack give out false detection.

I just get a message that says “Trojan Detected” when scanned by AVG. I will try the above link when the game finishes installing. Then I will scan the file and see what happens. The game just finished installing. I scanned the file and I got “Symantec WS.Reputation.1”. Every other scan went through just fine except that one.
