Ugh Need a WebHost!
August 22nd, 2013
I currently have an account with Yahoo Small Business and have had one for a while now. Just recently they have been having major mysql issues, which is causing my databases to crash at random. I have called, and e-mailed for support and they have said from their side everything is functioning properly. I have not gotten this issues until recently when they experienced mysql errors+disconnects.
Anyways, I am in search of a new host. I have looked into a few, some scammish, some limiting too many features.
What am I looking for? speed, reliability, freedom. I currently play ~$36/3-months (~$144/year). I need unlimited space/bandwith/domains/databases(a must). Years ago, finding a nice one for $4/month was nice. Now-a-days everyone is charging $4.95/month, read the fine print it is $4.95/month but your purchase a 36-month plan, the 12-month plan is $8.95+/month.
Also most of the ones I run into do not run month-month or 3-months, they are all cheap monthly rates for 1-year subscripts.
Anyways, some input, ideas, what you use, let me know. I have looked at bluehost but did not get good reviews, hostgator wasnt bad, a2host was skiddish on pricing, hostmonster really wasnt bad price or feature wise, but just goto keep looking. Thanks in advance.
