Garmin Nuvi 610 map update problems

Having trouble updating my garmin nuvi 610. I get this error message when I try and update via Garmin Express. How can I install newer maps on this piece of crap? I have an sd card I can use. Thanks in advance guys, any help with this will be very much appreciated

Can you delete all your current maps, then apply the update?

You need the space for the whole map. You should move your old map on the pc and then delete it from the sd card. Then you can safely install the new ones.
