Windows 8 Password Reset tool

Is there any good password reset tool for windows 8?
i tried hiren boot cd but it is not working.

if the drive is encrypted ,you will access to all personal files and documents..so beware before even trying.
kornboot should do the job

The easiest way is via Paragon rescue Kit, it may also not work sometimes though, it depends on hardware.

A guaranteed solution although it has a little bit more work is using any live linux distro and chntpw:

The article is old, you probably don’t need to add any repositories now just start with sudo apt-get install chntpw
and do the rest of the steps. When you have to give the navigation commands, remember that linux commands are case-sensitive, depending on your version the sam (or SAM) file could be at a different location (system32 or System32 or SysWOW64 etc), check with the equivalent gui file manager of the distro you are going to use for the proper writing or use the ls command.
