hi
can u do a check on this link and tell me if its worth the price as its way over the odds for what a new imac would cost me from apple.
Would this trash the imac hands down – im new to hackintosh so i know basically nothing regarding them .
Im after a fast system for FCP on Mac.
I currently use mac at moment and my geekbench score is multiple core – 3000 odd / single core 1200 odd

Those will cost you a lot. The better way is to build yourself a computer and then install mac yourself. It’s not hard and will make you save 500-800$.

I built mine for like $400.. it runs everything I throw at it though I will admit to slowdowns and random issues here and there. LR for example is a pig on the machine… though Indesign and other programs run well.. Check out tonymacs, do your research, build one using the specs and have fun with it. Worse case, you have yourself a brand new PC running windows!
