bypass icloud lock

November 12th, 2019

I recently bought an ipod from a member of Facebook. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for my son this weekend. Well the ipod is icloud locked. I’ve checked with local authorities and verified it has not been reported stolen. I have locked all over and have been unable to find a way to unlock it. Does anyone know of a legit way to unlock it or even get the email address of the icloud user?
Answer #1
use the search: bypass icloud lock > not possible. You need to contact the previous owner / original owner and have him remove the device from his icloud. That’s the ONLY way (legit or not)
Answer #2
Yes, original buyer must provide Apple with proof of purchase, then they can unlock it. Of course if you can contact him, just ask him to remove it
Answer #3
Well I found a bypass, but it doesn’t allow full functionality and it is a headache. The problem is the person who sold it to me says she didn’t know it was locked and she bought it from someone else like that. So I can’t even find the original owner. I guess I’m just out $85. Maybe I can recoup half of that selling it on ebay (with a warning that it is locked of course).
Answer #4
you could ask her to see if she’s still in contact with the person who she bought it from. With some luck (s)he’s the original owner and can remove the lock (if willing)
Answer #5
Sounds fishy. It might have been stolen somewhere else, so your local authorities dont know about it.
An icloud locked idevice is useless for other than spare parts.
Answer #6
You’re knackered, to say the least.
You’ve got yourself a nice door stop there is NO way to bypass iCloud unless you PAY for it.
Even if the IMEI etc hasn’t been reported as stolen, if it’s iCloud locked you’re out of luck.
It can be done, but no public method is out and it can be done if you pay a lot of money but then it’s not worth it.
Just buy a new device or a second hand one without it being activation locked.
Sorry.
Answer #7
May I ask which ipod you got please?
Answer #8
As others above have said…you basically have a useless iPod and there’s no way to bypass the iCloud lock
Whether or not you bought it legit or its stolen…for future reference, its always best to research everything before purchasing a used device, you should’ve asked for pictures of the device while it’s turned on (past the Lockscreen) and to go even further, you should have asked them to reset the device to factory and set it up as a new device, that way you can see that it can be restored and hasn’t got an iCloud lock on it
Answer #9
You bought a stolen iPod and this is a crime. You can’t sell it legally because selling stolen things is a crime. If you want to exit clean you have to bring the iPod to the police.
When you buy these sort of things you have to ask proof of ownership and of the correct functioning of the device.
The device must be fully accessible and everything should be accessed. If it’s a phone then you need to also check if it can make calls.
Answer #10
don’t make accusations you can’t make hard . Just because it’s iCloud locked doesn’t mean its stolen. 2nd line in Op’s first message. He checked with local authorities. Could be a legitimate sales where the original device owner just forgot to remove the icloud account, no more no less.
Besides, you’re in a forum. So you’re commiting crimes as well by using pirated applications. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

don't make accusations you can't make hard . Just because it's iCloud locked doesn't mean its stolen. 2nd line in Op's first message. He checked with local authorities. Could be a legitimate sales where the original device owner just forgot to remove the icloud account, no more no less.
Besides, you're in a forum. So you're commiting crimes as well by using pirated applications. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

The fact that is iCloud locked, it’s a big hint to the fact that it may be stolen.
I was in a hurry when I wrote the message so it can be not stolen.
Piracy is not illegal. In the majority of countries when you don’t make money with it, downloading a software without buying it is not a crime.
The problem is the person who sold it to me says she didn't know it was locked and she bought it from someone else like that. So I can't even find the original owner.

This is very fishy, how come someone bought/obtained an iPod and didn’t notice it was locked?
Doesn’t it seem suspicious enough? This was the reason I jumped to the conclusion, a bit to early, but the situation calls for it.
Don’t make accusation you can’t make hard . Just because it’s a forum doesn’t mean I’m using pirated software. So the count is even. We both made the same error. I hope you understand how it’s easy to make such an error, no hard feelings.
To the OP: sorry if my message seemed rough. I can’t be sure that the iPod is stolen but the situation hints at it strongly… Usually when an iCloud locked device jump from a hand to another, it usually means one thing. Considering that the process of removing the iCloud lock is not the hardest thing around(in case you are the legal owner) the fact that the lock is present.
By the way, there is no way for you to directly know the owner details. Only Apple can make something with it but you need to have the device account details and the proof that it has been bought. There are people claiming to have exploit for older models but they are not the people I would trust…

At this time there is no no working I-cloud bypass……There are thousands of bogus sites that will take your money or install mal-ware in your system.
The closest anyone has come is the man in the middle aproach such as DoulCi but at this time it is still not working.
As I see you have already tried DNS server, so beware of anyone telling you they can bypass it. Use it for parts, screen, digitizer, battery.
Sorry to hear you got burned
Answer #13
Thank you for all the responses. I didn’t think there was a way. I’m just desperate. As for it being stolen, I don’t doubt it is, but what can I do about it? I went to the police department in the hopes I could get my money back, but they ran the serial number and nada. I even contacted Apple and asked if they could contact who ever it was registered to.

The discussion about Apple, iOS vs android… lol
Fact is, when it comes to security Apple is the best.
iCloud security is rock solid. Unfortunately it can’t be done.
