[ SOLVED ] Macbook pro (early 2015) driver help windows

August 2nd, 2016

Hi I installed windows 8.1 on an external HDD for my MAC. When I tried to install the bootcamp drivers (version: 5.1.5640) it gave me the error “This version of Bootcamp is not intended for this computer model”, but it is. Hence I was not able to fully install the drivers. With driver searching softwares I was able to install most of the drivers except for sound, trackpad and wifi. I have workarounds for sound and trackpad but my biggest problem is my wifi.
I have used multiple driver searching softwares to install the drivers (for the wifi) but they have all failed to resolve the problem. Can somebody please help me with this?
I do not mind installing another version of windows if my wifi will work in it (along with the other things of course ). I tried and failed in installing Windows 7 SP1 but I have not yet tried with windows 10 but I’ve read that windows 10 is not yet supported for mac. But if anybody has tried and tested it, I can follow instructions.
Thank you fellow members.
P.S. A small problem, in Windows my screen brightness is not as high as in MacOS and I have a feeling that it keeps fluctuating. If somebody can help me with that too

Hello future fellows in trouble. I finally found out how to solve all the problems. I downloaded the custom drivers for windows 10 from the following link. After installing them, everything that I need works perfectly now. http://www.123myit.com/boot-camp-drivers/macbook-pro/
I have not yet tested the thunderbolt port and the SD card slot as I have no means of testing it. But I have no reason to believe that they will not work. And for those who need help in installing windows on an external hard drive. Follow the instructions in the following link:
