Please suggest me a good laptop with 17 inch screen
my recommendation i7 Processor or Quad Core
16 GB RAM

I cant because i had one and i realized what a very bad invention this really is for customers!
The main trouble is if one part brakes or goes bad there is little chance to get it repaired and even if you pay a huge prize. On top these manufacturers always pick atleast one part that sux. What good is a i7 with 16 gb ram when your display is very bad?
And manufacturers keep mixing it on top! Dont think if you read a great review on Asus killanote XSP 5248 (just made up name) you will get exactly that mix of tested Hardware when you buy one.
On Top these mobil computers cost a fortune. You can easy buy 2-3 complete standard PC’s that are better for same price. You need a laptop cause you want it at home and in university? Buy 2 PC, one for each location and an external HD to mobilize your data.
Trust me! I had an top notch Notebook! Asus W90VP! Look it up! It was great and even worked for 5 Years. But after 2 i already found i wanted to update hardware but i couldnt. So 3 more years it wasnt so top anymore. And at the end i just thought “what a bad investment” still nomatter i was very lucky. Most notebooks dont stay alive longer than 3 years and develope issues (like failing accumulators) long befor.

Th bit is important – they vary between countries!
In the UK – I have a Scan 3XS 17″ lappy – i7, 16G corsair ram, geforce 880, SSD, hard drive, dvd writer.. room for a pony..

You don’t need to spend 2500$ on this something like a inspiron 7747 for around a grand would do as long as its not for gaming

I’m very happy with MSI…..
Look for the 3rd Party resellers and servicer’s in your area to find the best.
Then also, look at what they have to offer currently, and then research reviews experiences on some of the ones you like, and then make your choice.
I did that like 2-3 years ago and got this…. Best computer I’ve ever had. The design, the features, etc.

(I got mine with the “clear” screen option (whatever it’s called) rather than the standard Matt most laptops come with these days, which I don’t like. I don’t like feeling like I’m looking through a screen door. lol (unless you’ll be using the laptop outside a lot of course) )

Please tell us where are you from first, your purpose of usage and your budget; and remember, just because you have the cash doesn’t mean you should spend them for something you won’t be needing.

my basic use would be Photo editing and skype calls nothing else …budget would be around 80000 INR
