Iphone 4 faulty?

July 28th, 2013

My iphone 4 is in DFU mode, when I try to restore it in Itunes the screen flashes white 1 time and then it restarts. After a couple times itunes gives me error 1611.
I searched the internet a lot for a solution but nothing seems to work.

Restore where? To what FW?
Answer #5
@Imfartin: flushing the dns did not work either, I don’t think there’s something wrong with my pc. It must be a hardware issue inside the iphone.
@woot: I’m restoring it in itunes with the latest firmware (5.0.1 I think)

It could be hardware issue!

At first I thought it was the battery, so I replaced it. That didn’t work so now I think it’s the motherboard, could that be the issue? The Itunes logo shows up on the screen only when I plug it in, without an usb cable the iphone won’t even start.

In that case I’m sure it’s hardware issue….

Yes I would imagine its the Logic board if you have replaced the battery. I would send it off to apple and get them to fix it or find a cheap good service to fix it.
