IPod Help

I have a iPod Nano and want to put some movies in it, I have converted them to H.264 MP4 format using Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate, but when I put them in using SharePod, some doesn’t appear on the iPod and doesn’t allow me to rename the file, is there a alternative software to SharePod?

I-Tunes or MediaMonkey, I thought Sharepod was to transfer songs from I-Pod to Computer, not the other way around
