Adblocker should do it. There is for Firefox and Chrome, choose for the browser you use.

install adblock
use subscription easylist, and fanboy
update and restart firefox
enjoy no adverts on any website and if you do see them, right click block image/frame.

Most people suggested extensions but I find they take too much memory in the browser. My 2 favourite right now are Ad Muncher and AdFender, the last one being free. Try AdFender you will probably like it.
